QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Exhibits the core values of CGMH: Inclusive, Caring, Accountable, Respect, Excellence, Adaptable, Teamwork
  • Graduate of a recognized Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Registered RT (N) in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologistsof Ontario required
  • Strong knowledge and application of radiation safety practices
  • Excellent customer service demeanour
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to accurately perform the duties of the role with a focused attention to detail
  • Physically able to perform the essential duties of the role
  • Excellent attendance/performance record
  • Committed to professional growth & development
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to stay current within the profession
  • Membership with CAMRT and OAMRT preferred

DUTIES:

Performs General and CardiacNuclear Medicine Imaging procedures to provide diagnostic information of excellent clinical quality; Carries out procedures in the best interest of optimum client/patient care; observes all aspects of personnel/patient safety;applies radiation safety practices while performing all duties.
